Personalised Care Interprofessional Education Network logo

The national Personalised Care Interprofessional Education group (PerCIE) is a growing partnership across 14 UK HEI's, and includes representatives from Public Health, HEE, Placement Learning staff , VCSE organisations and students. The group meets monthly to provide a collegial platform for debate and action that supports the generation of new socially connected learning opportunities for students in non-NHS contexts. Over the past 2 years, we have attracted national and international attention and our work has been included in the National Personalised Care Institute and led to consultation with national groups working to support socially prescribed environments.

BBC Radio Merseyside Interview

In June 2022, a PerCIE member Pam Donaghy-Binks from Liverpool John Moores was interviewed by BBC Radio Merseyside about nursing placements. It boosted the public health understanding and awareness of the wider determinants into wider workforce roles and how placements can help.

In July, BBC Radio Merseyside followed up with the student at the end of their placement. Both interviews are listed below.

The resource section contains presentations and useful information from our PerCIE meetings. They are free to use and share.
