OHID Northwest Webinar Programme

This is a temporary digital solution to host recordings of OHID Northwest Webinars in partnership with HEE North West, specifically the North West Population Health & prevention network. Pages will be developed to include more information about the work of OHID Northwest Health & Wellbeing team including, key resources, information regarding upcoming events, agendas and minutes of meetings, presentations and recordings.

The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) is part of the Department of Health and Social Care.  We focus on improving the nation’s health so that everyone can expect to live more of life in good health, and on levelling up health disparities to break the link between background and prospects for a healthy life. OHID supports the delivery of national and regional priorities for prevention and health inequalities and ensuring a joined-up approach to public health, building strong interfaces with different teams and areas of public health across the regional system.

OHID Northwest works with Local Authority Public Health Teams and other departments, NHS partners, other government departments in the north west and third sector organisations to address the health and wellbeing and health disparities across the north west.  This is achieved by sharing information, providing support and acting as an interface between national policy teams and local delivery.  We support a number of networks and frequently deliver webinars on key health inequalities issues in particular, drawing in nationally renowned researchers, key national personnel and examples of local delivery.
