We are delighted to invite you to the Building capacity for managing population health and health inequalities: Event for AHP Regional, Trust-wide, Council, Faculty and ICS Leaders.

 

This event will be held on Thursday 11th August 2022, 09:30-11:00 and repeated on Friday 9th September 2022, 11:30-13:00.

 

This event is intended for AHP leaders (Regional, Trust-wide, Council Chairs, Faculty and ICS). It will provide opportunities to explore the evidence-base for the public health approach including actions to reduce health inequalities.  The session will share resources and national offers, and create a space for networking conversations to discuss the role of Chief AHPs, AHP councils and AHP Faculties in championing public health approaches and reducing health inequalities.  We are keen to hear what additional support is needed.

 

The event will be chaired by Linda Hindle OBE, Deputy Chief AHP Officer for England and Lead Allied Health Professional and National Engagement Lead for Public health in Police, Fire and Ambulance Services, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC)
